On November 16, 2024 , Associate Professor Dr.Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, along with the executive team joined in the opening ceremony of the CMU Trekking 2024 : The 60th CMU Freshman Welcoming Celebrations, and motivated to over 600 students of the Faculty of Agro-Industry.
On the opening ceremony was honored by Mr. Nirat Pongsitthaworn, governor of Chiang Mai, delivered the warm welcoming speech.
Afterwards, Professor Dr.Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, presided over the opening ceremony and gave an opening speech.

The CMU Trekking 2024 : The 60th CMU Freshman Welcoming Celebrations aimed to welcome new CMU Freshmen with the 60th anniversary celebration of Chiang Mai University.
This traditional event is an exciting and meaningful adventure as we come together to trek 12 kilometers to the revered Phra That Doi Suthep, celebrating the incredible milestone of 60 years at Chiang Mai University.

 มช. รวมใจสานต่อประเพณี “รับน้องขึ้นดอย” สู่ปีที่ 60  

เมื่อวันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน 2567 สโมสรนักศึกษา คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ได้เข้าร่วมประเพณีนำนักศึกษาใหม่ขึ้นไปนมัสการพระบรมธาตุดอยสุเทพ “รับน้องขึ้นดอย” ประจำปี 2567 ร่วมสืบสานประเพณีการนำนักศึกษาใหม่ขึ้นไปนมัสการพระบรมธาตุดอยสุเทพ หรือ รับน้องขึ้นดอย “เฉลิมขวัญ ฉลองศรัทธา ๖๐ วัสสา ชาวคชาขึ้นดอย” เพื่อร่วมฉลองครบรอบ 60 ปี มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ขึ้นเป็นลำดับที่ 6 โดยมีท่านคณบดี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยุทธนา พิมลศิริผลพร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร บุคลากร เข้าให้กำลังใจน้องๆ นักศึกษาก่อนออกเดินทาง และมีนักศึกษารวมถึงศิษย์เก่าเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมประมาณ 600 กว่าคน

ประเพณีรับน้องขึ้นดอย ยังคงเป็นกิจกรรมรับน้องที่นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ได้แสดงสปิริตของความเป็นลูกช้างได้อย่างเต็มภาคภูมิ และพร้อมสานต่อประเพณีอันดีงามนี้จากรุ่นสู่รุ่นต่อไป
