เมื่อวันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2568 คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร (สมุทรสาคร) ร่วมกับ สำนักบริการวิชาการ วิทยาลัยการศึกษาตลอดชีวิต และวิทยาลัยพหุวิทยาการและสหวิทยาการ ได้ดำเนินการประชุมหารือความร่วมมือแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเมืองสมุทรสาคร ณ คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร (สมุทรสาคร) มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ โดยมีตัวแทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน ร่วมจำนวน 40 คน เข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น
การประชุมครั้งนี้อยู่ภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือของ U-PIN มช. (University–Planet–Innovation-Network) เพื่อร่วมกัน ผลักดันแนวคิด “Blue Carbon” ในการฟื้นฟูและบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งอย่างยั่งยืนมุ่งสู่เป้าหมาย Net Zero 2050 ของประเทศไทย ซึ่งการประชุมดังกล่าวเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย และนวัตกรรมสู่การพัฒนาเมืองสมุทรสาครอย่างยั่งยืนภายใต้ความร่วมมือทุกภาคส่วน

On October 31, 2025, the Faculty of Agro-Industry (Samut Sakhon), in collaboration with the University Academic Service Center (UNISERV), the School of Lifelong Education (LE), and the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), convened a consultative meeting to explore collaborative strategies for advancing the development of Samut Sakhon Province. The event, held at the Faculty of Agro-Industry (Samut Sakhon), Chiang Mai University, saw the participation of 40 representatives from both government and private sectors who engaged in an exchange of insights. This discussion operated within the U-PIN CMU (University–Planet–Innovation–Network) framework, specifically aiming to promote the “Blue Carbon” concept for the sustainable restoration and management of marine and coastal resources, thereby contributing to Thailand’s Net Zero 2050 goal. The meeting represents a crucial step for Chiang Mai University in leveraging its knowledge, research, and innovation to drive the sustainable development of Samut Sakhon through comprehensive multi-sectoral collaboration.
