On Friday, 27 February 2026, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, hosted the 1st Consortium Meeting of the Science and Technology Cluster (2026) at BP 104 Meeting Room, CMU Biopolis Building, Faculty of Agro-Industry.

On this occasion, congratulations were extended to Professor Dr. Piyapong Niamsup, Dean of the Faculty of Science, on his royal appointment as Professor in Mathematics, effective from 9 July 2020. The congratulatory bouquet was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry.

Following the congratulatory presentation, the meeting was conducted with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration among faculties in the areas of management, teaching and learning, research, as well as joint science and technology initiatives.

In addition, participants were given a guided tour of facilities and laboratories across the Faculty of Agro-Industry to exchange insights and gain a broader understanding of the Faculty’s scientific and technological infrastructure.
