On March 2, 2026, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty, together with the executive team, warmly welcomed Dr. Peter Lutes from the Faculty of Agriculture, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kagawa University, Japan.
 

The visit aimed to discuss academic collaboration, particularly the development of a Double Degree program to enhance educational opportunities and promote student exchange between the two institutions.
 

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Shitapan Bai-Ngew, Director of the Food Innovation and Packaging Center (FIN), together with Asst. Prof. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean, led the delegation on a tour of the facilities and laboratories, showcasing the FIN’s research capabilities in order to further strengthen future academic cooperation.
