Chiang Mai University Executives Visit Leading Indonesian Universities to Strengthen Academic Collaboration
On 10 March 2026, a delegation from Chiang Mai University, led by Professor of Practice Dr. Charin Techapun, Vice President, together with Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean, conducted a series of official visits to leading universities in Indonesia to enhance international academic collaboration.
During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call to the President’s Office of Brawijaya University to discuss potential collaboration in education, research, and academic services between the two institutions. The delegation also visited the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Brawijaya University to explore opportunities for cooperation in agro-industry, food technology, and academic exchange programs for students and staff.
The delegation further visited the President’s Office of Universitas Negeri Malang to exchange perspectives on potential academic partnerships and future collaborative activities, particularly in strengthening regional academic networks.
On the same occasion, the delegation also met with representatives from Universitas Jember to exchange information and explore possibilities for future cooperation in education and research.
This visit marks another important step in expanding the international partnership network of Chiang Mai University with higher education institutions in Indonesia, fostering greater collaboration in education, research, and innovation.
