On 24 April 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean, warmly welcomed delegates from Universitas Brawijaya, Republic of Indonesia, during their visit for academic collaboration discussions and faculty visits, at Meeting Room 3, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University.

The delegation was led by Professor Dr. Ir. Eddy Suprayitno, M.S., Special Advisor to the Rector, accompanied by Professor Dr. Marjono, M.Phil., Abdul Aziz Jaziri, S.Pi., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Associate Professor Dr. Nurul Huda.

Following the welcome session, both institutions held discussions on future collaborations, focusing on international curriculum development, student and staff exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.

Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat also presented an overview of the faculty and guided the delegation on a visit to key laboratories and facilities, supporting knowledge exchange and strengthening sustainable international academic partnerships.

On the same occasion, the Faculty of Agro-Industry also arranged a meeting between the delegation and Associate Professor Dr. Apinun Suvarnaraksha, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Maejo University, to discuss potential academic collaboration and related research opportunities among the three institutions, further strengthening international academic networks and future research partnerships.
