On 19 May 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Noppol Leksawasdi, Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University, warmly welcomed Prof Dr. Jian Shi from University of Kentucky, USA, during his visit to the Faculty of Agro-Industry.

The occasion was also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Niramon Utama-ang, Associate Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean, along with faculty executives and staff members, who jointly extended a warm welcome.

The visit included academic discussions, exchanges of research interests and collaborative opportunities, as well as tours of the Faculty’s facilities and the university campus. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening international academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
