
CMU Agro-Industry Hosts “SROI Hack” Workshop to Strengthen Social Impact Measurement Capacity
The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, organized a hands-on workshop titled “SROI Hack: Exploring Approaches to Measuring Social Return on Investment” from June 8–9, 2026, at Room 1-219, Building 1, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University. The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Niramon Utama-ang, Vice Dean, and was conducted in an intensive yet friendly learning atmosphere.
The workshop was held under the theme “From Impact to Value: Learning SROI in Practice”, with a team of expert speakers from the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University. The program delivered comprehensive knowledge ranging from fundamental SROI concepts and social impact assessment processes to practical applications through case studies and hands-on activities.
Participants enhanced their skills in systematically designing and evaluating projects, with the ability to clearly link outcomes to the creation of social value. The knowledge gained will contribute to improving the quality of research and academic service projects of the Faculty, aligning them with sustainable social development goals.
