Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University Holds the Wai Khru Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026, Preserving Thai Traditions and Honoring Outstanding Academic Achievement
On 2 July 2026, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, held the Wai Khru Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026 to provide students with an opportunity to express their respect and gratitude to their lecturers, who have imparted knowledge and guided their academic journey, while preserving the cherished traditions of Thai educational institutions.
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Suthee Wangtueay, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, acting on behalf of the Dean. The event was attended by the Faculty's administrators, academic staff, support personnel, and students. The program included an opening address, the students' pledge of commitment, and the presentation of traditional floral offerings to faculty members as a gesture of respect and appreciation. The ceremony was conducted in a warm and meaningful atmosphere, reflecting the enduring bond between teachers and students.
On this occasion, the Faculty also presented Certificates of Academic Excellence to students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2025 Academic Year. The certificates recognized their dedication to learning, celebrated their academic accomplishments, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence while serving as role models for their peers.
