On 26-28 April 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, as representative of the Dean, joined the delegation visiting Souphanouvong University, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, following an invitation from Universitas Brawijaya, Republic of Indonesia, to discuss academic collaboration between the institutions.

The visit aimed to exchange knowledge in the areas of agriculture, research, and curriculum development, while strengthening academic partnerships among the institutions. During the visit, the delegation participated in institutional-level discussions, attended presentations on academic activities and research conducted by the Faculty of Agriculture, and exchanged perspectives on future collaboration in curriculum development, joint research initiatives, and international academic networking.

This mission provided an important opportunity to strengthen academic relations among the universities and to support the Faculty of Agro-Industry’s internationalization strategy, fostering sustainable and impactful global academic cooperation in the future.
