On October 3, 2026, the Startup Club of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, held an event under the theme "Craft & Brew" at Uniserv, Chiang Mai University. The club was honored to welcome two entrepreneurs from the beverage industry as guest speakers: Ms. Suwalee Kiatkarun, Managing Director of Tea Gallery (Thailand) Co., Ltd., representing the tea business, and Mr. Sirapat Chaiyakham, Co-founder of COXLAB, Brewer at Sucking Stones, and Founder of Lanna Brewing, representing the craft beer business. The speakers shared their knowledge and experience in starting and running a business, from building a brand to navigating challenges in the real market.
Beyond the talks, both speakers presented students with real challenges and pain points from their businesses. Students were tasked with developing solutions using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), helping them think about businesses systematically and encouraging them to build on these ideas to develop business models of their own.
The event was attended by more than 80 students. It served as another platform connecting classroom knowledge with the experience of real entrepreneurs, while fostering entrepreneurial skills among the next generation in agro-industry.
