AIAC President Welcomes Global Experts at FIAC 2026 to Advance Sustainable Food Systems
On 11 June 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, and President of the Agro-Industry Academic Council Association (AIAC), delivered a welcome address at the opening ceremony of the Food Innovation Asia Conference 2026 (FIAC 2026) held at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Thailand.
Food Innovation Asia Conference 2026 (FIAC 2026) was jointly organized by the Agro-Industry Academic Council Association (AIAC) and the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT), with Suranaree University of Technology and Naresuan University serving as the host institutions for the 2026 conference.
Held on 11–12 June 2026 under the theme “Transforming Food Systems: Integrating Science, Technology, and Tradition for Global Well-Being,” the conference serves as an international platform bringing together researchers, academics, industry professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from around the world to exchange knowledge, showcase research achievements, and strengthen collaboration in food innovation and agro-industry.
In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing global food challenges and highlighted the need to integrate scientific advancement, technological innovation, and traditional wisdom to build more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive food systems.
He also underscored the critical role of partnerships among academia, industry, and government sectors in accelerating food innovation and generating positive impacts on food security, public health, and sustainable development.
As President of AIAC, Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and international collaboration. Through these efforts, AIAC continues to strengthen knowledge exchange and support the advancement of Thailand’s agro-industry and food sector on the global stage.
