Science Laboratory Group, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, organized a hands-on training workshop titled "Laboratory Safety Management in the Faculty of Agro-Industry" for the year 2026. The training was held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 08:00 to 16:30, at the Auditorium Hall, Northern Science Park, and at the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University. Assoc. Prof. Thanongsak Chaiyaso, Head of the Academic Division, graciously presided over the training event.

The objective of this training was to transfer knowledge and share experiences in laboratory safety management with students, research assistants, and individuals involved in laboratory work. The event was divided into two parts: a lecture session and a practical session. These sessions aimed to ensure that participants gain accurate knowledge and a standardized approach to laboratory safety management. Additionally, participants engaged in hands-on practice through real-life scenarios, including the use of fire extinguishing equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response procedures for chemical/biological spills or microbial leaks within the laboratories of the Faculty of Agro-Industry.
