The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT), organized the “CMU – FoSTAT Food Innovation Contest 2026” (Regional Semi-Final Round) under the theme “Value of Tomorrow: Redefining Health Food.” Season 1 focuses on Well-Being: NCDs (Cardiovascular Diseases).
The event was held on April 27, 2026, at Meeting Room 3, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, and streamed online via Zoom Cloud Meetings. Associate Professor Dr. Sutee Wangtueai, Associate Dean, presided over the opening ceremony. A total of 13 shortlisted teams participated in the competition.
Following a rigorous evaluation process, three outstanding teams were selected to represent the Northern region at the national competition, which will take place at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani on June 12, 2026.
This event serves as an important platform to enhance students’ capabilities in food innovation and to promote the development of future-oriented healthy food concepts.
