วันที่ 2-6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรชัย ราชตนะพันธุ์ หัวหน้าสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีการบรรจุ ศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรบีซีจี คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในฐานะอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ได้นำนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนมงฟอร์ตวิทยาลัย จ.เชียงใหม่ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือการเตรียมความพร้อมเข้าร่วมแข่งขันโครงงานในระดับประเทศ ระหว่างคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร และ โรงเรียนมงฟอร์ตวิทยาลัย ได้แก่ นักเรียน จำนวน 4 ราย คือ นายปฏิมากรณ์ ไชยแก้ว, นายรัฐศาสตร์ ชัยสุวรรณ, นางสาวธนัญชนก วงศ์คุณ และ นางสาวธนิดา มณีศรี พร้อมด้วยครูที่ปรึกษา 3 ท่าน ได้แก่ คุณครูพิจิตวรรณ นันต๊ะภาพ, คุณครูเจนจิรา ดวงแก้ว และ คุณครูจันทร์จิรา ชัยอินทรีย์อาจ เข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานภาคโปสเตอร์ ภายในงานวันนักประดิษฐ์ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2568

โดยได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศเหรียญทอง ( I New Gen Award 2025) ในหัวข้อเรื่อง “การพัฒนาไบโอพลาสติกจากเปลือกส้มและเปลือกมะนาว : Development of Bioplastic from Orange and Lime Pells”

Professor in Packaging Technology Leads Montfort College Students to Win Gold Medal at Inventor's Day 2025

From February 2-6, 2025, Professor Dr. Pornchai Rachtanaphan, Head of the Packaging Technology Program at the BCG Agricultural Industry Excellence Center, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, in his role as an academic advisor, led students from Montfort College, Chiang Mai, to present their research in a poster presentation at Inventor's Day 2025.

Under the collaboration between the Faculty of Agro-Industry and Montfort College to prepare students for national-level competitions, four students—Patimakorn Chaikaew, Rattasat Chaisuwan, Thananchanok Wongkhun, and Thanida Maneesri—along with three advisory teachers, Pichitwan Nantaphap, Jenjira Duangkaew, and Chanjira Chaiintreeart, participated in the event.

Their project, "Development of Bioplastic from Orange and Lime Peels," won the Gold Medal (I New Gen Award 2025).

The competition took place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok.
