Seminar & Workshop “Bioprocess Scale-Up for Food Industry”
On Thursday, 18 September 2025, from 09.00–12.30 hrs, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University organized the Seminar & Workshop on “Bioprocess Scale-Up for Food Industry: From Bench to Pilot-Scale” at the Technology Transfer Unit for Advanced Fermentation, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University.
The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phisit Seesuriyachan, Associate Dean, who presided over the opening ceremony. The program was designed to enhance knowledge and practical skills in bioprocessing for the food industry, with a focus on scaling up production from laboratory to pilot scale.
Distinguished speakers included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaemwich Jantama (Suranaree University of Technology) and Prof. Dr. Kuan-Chen Cheng (National Taiwan University).

This seminar and workshop provided an excellent opportunity for participants to develop expertise in food bioprocessing technology and to gain insights into the process of scaling up from bench-scale to pilot-scale production.
