คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร CMU ร่วมเสริมศักยภาพด้าน STI ในเวทีนานาชาติ ณ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
เมื่อวันที่ 18–24 มกราคม 2569 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปวาลี ชมภูรัตน์ ธฤติธนเกียรติ์ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมโครงการ STI Coordination Internship Program จาก ASEAN University Network (AUN) ซึ่งจัดโดย Kyoto University Office of Research Acceleration (KURA) ร่วมกับ ASEAN University Network (AUN), AUN/SEED-Net และ JICA ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเกียวโต เมืองเกียวโต ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นโครงการที่มีการคัดเลือกผู้เข้าร่วมอย่างเข้มข้น เพื่อเสริมสร้างการเป็น Next Generation STI Coordination Leader โดยมีผู้ได้รับการคัดเลือกเพียง 4 คนจากภูมิภาคอาเซียน ประกอบด้วย ประเทศไทย 2 คน อินโดนีเซีย 1 คน และมาเลเซีย 1 คน สะท้อนถึงศักยภาพและบทบาทของผู้เข้าร่วมในด้านการประสานงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม (Science, Technology and Innovation: STI)
โครงการ STI Coordination Internship Program มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือร่วมมือระหว่างผู้บริหารงานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัย (URAs) สมาชิกสำนักเลขาธิการ AUN และผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ด้านการประสานงาน STI (JASTIC Fellows) เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างอาเซียนและญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงพัฒนาทักษะด้านการประสานงาน STI การบริหารจัดการงานวิจัย และศักยภาพความเป็นผู้นำในอนาคต
ตลอดระยะเวลาโครงการ ผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านการประสานงาน STI และการบริหารงานวิจัย พบปะหน่วยงานให้ทุนและภาคเอกชนในเมืองเกียวโต ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ศึกษากลไกความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยและการศึกษาระหว่างประเทศ ตลอดจนเรียนรู้จากงานวิจัยขั้นแนวหน้าและรูปแบบความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและภาคอุตสาหกรรม ผ่านการเยี่ยมชมสถาบันและห้องปฏิบัติการชั้นนำ
การเข้าร่วมโครงการครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ และยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่เวทีโลก
Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, Strengthens STI Capacity on the International Stage in Japan
From 18 to 24 January 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Pavalee Chompoorat Tridtitanakiat, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, was selected to participate in the STI Coordination Internship Program organized by the Kyoto University Office of Research Acceleration (KURA) in collaboration with the ASEAN University Network (AUN), AUN/SEED-Net, and JICA, held at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.
The program is a highly competitive initiative aimed at fostering Next Generation STI Coordination Leaders. Only four participants from the ASEAN region were selected—two from Thailand, one from Indonesia, and one from Malaysia—reflecting the strong potential and significant role of the participants in the coordination of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI).
The STI Coordination Internship Program seeks to enhance collaboration among University Research Administrators (URAs), members of the AUN Secretariat, and emerging leaders in STI coordination (JASTIC Fellows). The program focuses on strengthening ASEAN–Japan cooperation, while developing competencies in STI coordination, research management, and future leadership.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in knowledge exchange on STI coordination and research administration, met with funding agencies and private-sector organizations in Kyoto, and explored mechanisms for international research and education collaboration. The program also provided opportunities to learn from cutting-edge research and university–industry collaboration models through visits to leading institutions and laboratories.
Participation in this program underscores the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University’s commitment to advancing international collaboration and enhancing research and innovation capacity on the global stage.
